Senior Security Engineering Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Security Engineering Manager to lead their Security Engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of security engineers, setting the technical vision and executing a scalable security strategy
• Detect and manage threats and risks across the entire stack and development lifecycle
• Develop and execute a technical security roadmap, including threat modeling and vulnerability management

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of hands-on security engineering experience, primarily in cloud-native environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• 3+ years of direct people management experience leading a high-performing security engineering team
• Proven track record in leading major security incidents and post-mortem analysis
• Expertise in cloud security principles and services, as well as Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools
• Strong experience in integrating security controls into CI/CD pipelines and securing containerized workloads
