Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to support the reliable operation of space systems and networks.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage telescope network IT infrastructure, including Windows and Linux systems
• Develop and deploy scalable systems while ensuring reliability and efficiency
• Monitor and maintain remote observatory sites, including sensor and network health

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technologies, Computer Networking, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• Proficiency with administering Linux and Windows servers
• Experience with developing scripts in at least one of the following: Bash, shell, Python
• Eligibility to obtain or maintain US Government Security Clearance
• Customer-success-driven, hands-on, and action-oriented approach
