SOC 2 Assessor

Job Summary

A company is looking for a SOC 2 Assessor - Part time & Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Test and evaluate the operating effectiveness of internal controls against AICPA Trust Services Criteria
• Conduct gap analysis and readiness assessments to identify and document gaps in existing controls
• Compile audit results into a detailed SOC 2 Type 2 report and provide recommendations for security improvements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in IT security compliance, specifically with SOC 2
• Experience in cloud computing security
• Knowledge of security governance and policy
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
• Military or practical job experience may substitute for formal education, with relevant certifications
