Software Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Software Engineer II to develop and maintain applications supporting research and clinical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Code new software features and translate requirements into software implementation
• Write test suites, including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests
• Maintain existing software and mentor new team members

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree may substitute for experience
• Two years of experience in software engineering; experience may substitute for degree
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails, Javascript, and SQL
• Knowledge of software engineering practices, including coding standards and testing
• Able to adapt to new technologies as required
