Staff Data Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Data Engineer to architect and deliver data solutions for advanced analytics and business intelligence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement end-to-end data architectures on AWS, including data lakes and ETL/ELT processes
• Lead the design of data models and storage solutions that support analytical and operational workloads
• Mentor engineering teams and optimize AWS workloads for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency

Qualifications:

• At least 10 years of experience in data engineering, with 5 years focused on AWS solutions
• Solid understanding of SaaS, distributed systems, and high availability concepts
• Experience mentoring junior data engineers and conducting code reviews
• Hands-on coding/scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar languages
• Familiarity with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud strategies
