Staff Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Engineer to develop cloud-based public safety software.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Managers and Designers to understand requirements and technical constraints
• Build and deploy features using technologies such as Java, MySQL, Redis, and Elasticsearch
• Enhance the architecture of the platform to support a growing customer base and improve code quality

Required Qualifications

• At least 10 years of professional experience with Java, .NET, or other server-side languages
• Experience in Agile development and automated testing
• Proficiency in building and managing RESTful APIs
• Deep experience in designing infrastructure for cloud-based applications, preferably in AWS or Azure
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and commitment to mentoring junior team members
