Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Security Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify vulnerabilities and potential threats to organizational systems and networks
• Design, implement, and enforce security controls including encryption, access control, monitoring, and prevention measures
• Lead incident response efforts, investigate security breaches, analyze logs, and mitigate threats to minimize organizational impact

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience as a security engineer with deep knowledge of security technologies, tools, and best practices
• Strong understanding of network protocols, IT infrastructure, encryption technologies, and security frameworks
• Experience with incident response, forensic analysis, and threat mitigation
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field; advanced certifications preferred (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH)
• Commitment to continuous learning about new security threats and mitigation techniques
