Job Summary

A company is looking for a Staff Software Engineer, Android to take ownership of their Android app across all phases of product development.

Key Responsibilities

• Own Android technical strategy & delivery, including architecture and modularization
• Collaborate with product and design teams to define requirements and deliver new features
• Mentor engineers and enforce Android development standards for quality and security

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience in owning Android architecture and multi-team delivery for consumer apps
• Deep knowledge of modern Android development including Kotlin, Compose, and MVVM architecture
• Experience with testing frameworks and operational excellence in instrumentation and observability
• Hands-on experience with Android CI/CD, Gradle, and Google Play releases
• Strong GraphQL experience on Android and familiarity with backend-for-frontend design
