Stanbridge University is on the lookout for a spirited and meticulous Facilities Associate to join our expanding Logistics team. Essential Job Functions:

  • Ensure that campus classrooms and laboratories are opened, stocked, cleaned/sanitized, and fully prepared for students and faculty.
  • Perform cleanup, disposal, and sanitization after laboratory sessions.
  • Assist faculty with classroom and laboratory setup, including both physical arrangement and technology support.
  • Provide technical and logistical support across a variety of labs.
  • Maintain and generate spreadsheets tracking lab usage and replenishment needs.
  • Communicate discrepancies or issues to the appropriate departments promptly.
  • Maintain organized inventory of stock items and parts.
  • Reconcile inventory discrepancies and provide accurate inventory reports.
  • Distribute weekly reports summarizing inventory accuracy through cycle counts.
  • Maintain laboratory functionality, cleanliness, and presentation standards.
  • Coordinate with building maintenance and facilities teams as needed.
  • Manage and support special projects as assigned.

Standard Shift Hours:

  • Typically Monday–Tuesday, Thursday–Saturday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM
  • Day off may vary depending on class schedules

Qualifications:

  • Ability to work 8-hour shifts between the hours of 6:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
  • Weekend availability is essential; candidate must consistently be available to work Saturdays when classes are in session.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated excellent customer service skills.
  • Comfortable speaking in front of small to medium-sized groups.
  • Strong computer skills, especially in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and dependable.

Work Environment:

  • Standard office/classroom/lab or clinical setting.
  • Duties are typically performed while sitting at a desk or computer workstation.
  • May include time spent in skills labs or bedside environments as required by the program.
  • Subject to frequent interruptions, noise from talking or office equipment, and demanding timelines.

Physical Demands:

  • Regularly sits for extended periods.
  • Physical ability to perform program- or department-related duties.
  • Proficient in using electronic keyboards and office equipment.
  • Effective verbal communication via phone and in person.
  • Ability to read fine print, operate computers, and understand voices clearly.
  • Able to lift, carry, and/or move objects weighing 10–25 pounds as needed.
