State Licensed Actuary Director

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr Director, Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and perform actuarial studies related to medical costs and revenue, presenting insights to executive leadership
• Create analytics and reporting on existing programs and enhance predictive analytics for clinical outcomes
• Perform financial forecasting and set pricing structures for various lines of business

Required Qualifications

• Associate or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries
• Bachelor's Degree in Actuarial Studies, Statistics, or a related field preferred
• Minimum eight years of experience in the healthcare field with knowledge of health insurance product design
• Experience with Government health care contracts preferred
• Proficient in Excel, Microsoft Office, SQL, SAS, or other coding languages
