Job Summary

A company is looking for a Compliance Counsel.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze regulatory developments related to consumer lending and ensure operational readiness
• Collaborate with team members to improve processes and ensure compliance across product portfolios
• Manage regulatory exams, audits, and provide support for consumer complaint programs

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA accredited law school and Bar Association membership in one or more states
• 3+ years of experience in consumer finance law and regulation
• 5+ years of experience as an attorney
• Experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial vendor contracts and SaaS agreements
• Knowledge of relevant consumer lending and protection regulations
