State Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to manage legal matters related to contracts and partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on legal, regulatory, and contractual matters for the Partnerships and Business Development team
• Identify and explain non-standard terms and associated risks to stakeholders
• Utilize systems for managing new and amended contracts and advise on relevant laws and regulations

Required Qualifications

• Active and in good standing member of a US State Bar
• JD from an ABA accredited law school
• 5+ years of legal experience in consumer financial services, technology licensing, and data privacy
• Detail-oriented project management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects
• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and conflicting priorities in a dynamic environment
