State Licensed Corporate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Corporate Counsel to join their legal team.

Key Responsibilities

• Negotiate, draft, review, and advise on key company agreements, including contracts and NDAs
• Collaborate with the Deal Desk to enhance contracting processes and implement contract management systems
• Assist with corporate governance, financing, and equity issues while providing legal advice on various matters

Required Qualifications

• 1 - 3 years of corporate legal experience with a law firm or in-house legal department
• Juris Doctor Degree from an ABA Accredited University and a Bachelor's degree
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. State or District of Columbia
• Experience in negotiating, drafting, and reviewing contracts
• Strong research and organizational skills
