Job Summary

A company is looking for a Medical Director - Post-Acute Care Management - Care Transitions - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide daily utilization oversight and communicate with network physicians and hospitals
• Conduct peer-to-peer clinical case reviews and manage provider discussions related to cost-effective healthcare delivery
• Collaborate with leadership and client services to develop action plans and enhance care coordination

Required Qualifications

• MD or DO degree
• Active, unrestricted physician state license
• Current board certification in ABMS or AOA specialty
• 5+ years of clinical practice experience post-residency
• Solid understanding of evidence-based medicine and managed care principles
