Job Summary

A company is looking for a Pharmacist Operations Advisor.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and review prior authorization requests and render coverage determinations based on clinical criteria
• Communicate approval and denial decisions promptly to providers, employers, patients, and other stakeholders
• Provide internal support to the Prior Authorization team and handle inbound/outbound calls regarding requests

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or related field
• Active pharmacist license in the state of practice/residence
• 2+ years of experience with prior authorization reviews or clinical case review
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word
• Experience in processing prior authorization requests in a high-volume setting
