State Licensed Senior Legal Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Legal Counsel to provide general legal support across various business areas, focusing on commercial legal matters.

Key Responsibilities:

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer agreements and contracts
• Maintain and manage the customer commercial contracts repository
• Conduct legal research on emerging issues and industry-specific regulations

Required Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in private practice or in-house, with 8 years preferred
• J.D. or LL.B. degree with outstanding academic credentials
• Active and in good standing with a State Bar in the U.S. or Provincial Bar in Canada
• Working knowledge of privacy law and experience negotiating DPAs
• Experience with SaaS and technology-related agreements preferred
