Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Specialist Legal Editor, Startups.

Key Responsibilities

• Write, edit, and update legal resources focused on startup companies and capital raising
• Maintain expertise on securities law issues and ensure resources reflect current legal developments
• Collaborate on content planning, production, and special projects involving legal technology tools

Required Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA accredited law school and an active law license in at least one US state
• Minimum of eight years of experience in transactional matters, particularly with startups and small businesses
• Strong knowledge of organizational issues affecting startups throughout their life cycles
• Familiarity with labor/employment, intellectual property, and stock options as they relate to startups
• Project management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
