Statistical Programmer I

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Statistical Programmer I to assist in the development and validation of statistical programs for clinical trial analysis and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and validate statistical programs to support clinical trial analysis
• Create complex analysis data sets from various data sources while identifying outliers and errors
• Build patient cohorts and evaluate healthcare events using observational research methods

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field with high statistical content
• Minimum four years of SAS statistical programming experience
• Experience in database programming using SQL
• Familiarity with advanced statistical methods such as survival and regression analysis
• Experience with real-world healthcare claims and EHR data, including MarketScan, Optum, and Medicare databases
