The Head of Business Development (Individual Contributor) plays a crucial role in driving the growth and expansion of Stuart's business by leading strategic initiatives, forming key partnerships, and securing large deals in the food and grocery segment.

What will you be doing? πŸ€“
  • Lead the business development efforts to identify, target, and acquire strategic enterprise partners in the food and grocery segment in Poland. 
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies to maximize revenue growth and market penetration in Poland.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
  • Mapping and targeting leads in the food, grocery, and e-commerce sectors. 
  • Creating and managing a robust sales pipeline to achieve net growth in volume and revenue. 
  • Delivering compelling pitches, negotiating, and closing deals with large clients. (strategic and enterprise partners)
  • Collaborate closely with the commercial team’s (local and global), marketing, and operations teams to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies. 
  • Interface with external partners, clients, and industry stakeholders to build and maintain relationships.
  • Acquire new strategic partnerships with key players in the food and grocery industry to drive business growth. 
  • Meet and exceed sales targets for new client acquisition and revenue generation.
  • KPIs include volume and revenue targets, client acquisition metrics.
  • Navigating complex decision-making processes within large enterprise clients. 
  • Establishing credibility and trust in a competitive market landscape.
  • Adapting to evolving market trends and customer preferences in the food and grocery industry. 


What do we need from you? 😎
  • Senior Level, 8+ years of experience in similar roles.
  • Proven track record of success in senior sales or business development roles, preferably within the B2B enterprise sector. 
  • Extensive experience in the food industry, grocery segment, e-commerce, or related fields. 
  • Proficiency in sales strategies, negotiation techniques, and CRM tools. 
  • Familiarity with market analysis and business development methodologies. 
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Leadership qualities, including decision-making and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strategic thinking and planning capabilities to drive long-term business growth.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets and driving sales performance. 
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate challenges and capitalize on opportunities in a dynamic market environment.
