Substation Civil Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Substation Civil / Structural Designer for a remote work position.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed drawings/models and bills of material for civil and structural designs in substation engineering projects
• Conduct research and calculations related to structure specifications and project needs
• Review vendor drawings, resolve design issues, and provide technical support during construction phases

Required Qualifications

• Associate's degree in drafting and design
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and basic knowledge of substation components and drawings
• Strong understanding of mathematics, including algebra and basic trigonometry
• Organizational skills to manage data throughout project phases
• Ability to work from home and in an office setting as required
