Systems Engineer II

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Systems Engineer II responsible for supporting, maintaining, and enhancing the Bank's systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Minimize end user impacts during installation and testing of software, patches, and upgrades while resolving advanced technical issues
• Coordinate testing with application support staff to ensure functionality, stability, and performance of systems
• Continuously monitor and improve systems and processes through automation and technical enhancements

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 4 years of experience in Systems Engineering and Systems Programming, or High School Diploma/GED with 8 years of experience
• Working knowledge of programming languages such as PowerShell, Python, JavaScript, Rexx, ksh, or Perl
• Understanding of data flow, network interfaces, and protocols including TCP/IP and DNS
• Knowledge of relational database management systems and desktop/server virtualization
• Ability to be on call 24/7 for system support
