Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Accounting Manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive audit readiness, leading preparation, documentation, and coordination with external auditors
• Evaluate contracts for ASC 606 compliance, preparing revenue checklists, journal entries, and technical memos
• Streamline revenue and billing systems to ensure operational accuracy and GAAP alignment

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience with a focus on revenue recognition and audit preparation in a SaaS or tech environment
• CPA with a public accounting background (Big 4 preferred)
• Deep understanding of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 and ASC 718
• Proven success leading first-time audits and implementing accounting systems
• Proficiency with revenue recognition tools such as NetSuite ARM or Zuora RevPro
