Technical Designer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Technical Designer to work remotely in the signage and lighting design industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and revise shop drawings according to company standards and engineering requirements
• Review and self-assign art requests to meet schedule due dates
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to clarify details and optimize methods

Required Qualifications

• Strong computer/software skills, particularly in CorelDraw, Adobe, and Microsoft Office
• Understanding of materials and fabrication methods in sign manufacturing
• Basic math skills, including geometry and unit conversions
• Ability to read architectural plans and visualize 3D relationships from 2D drawings
• Preferred: Associate's degree or higher in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Industrial Design, or related field
