Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Operations Analyst who will ensure the smooth operation and reliability of IT services and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Use monitoring tools to manage the health of IT services and infrastructure, identifying potential issues before service disruption occurs
- Perform capacity management by analyzing trends to help forecast future needs and plan approved changes with minimal disruption
- Drive the resolution of underlying IT issues to reduce repeat occurrences and produce Knowledgebase articles for common issues
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
- Experience in a large-scale Enterprise environment supporting IT services in highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow
- Proven experience with Windows Server and desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Active Directory, and email technologies
- Knowledge of virtualization platforms, patching tools, and enterprise storage management
- Ability to diagnose common issues across applications and experience with monitoring tools and scripting for automation
