Job Summary

A company is looking for a Qualys SME contractor to support the Qualys environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee scanning tools (Qualys) to ensure coverage across the targeted environment
• Evaluate vulnerabilities based on CVSS scores, exploitability, threat intelligence, and business context to prioritize remediation efforts
• Coordinate with system owners and stakeholders for patching, configuration changes, or compensating controls

Required Qualifications

• Experience with Qualys implementation and management
• Knowledge of vulnerability assessment and remediation processes
• Understanding of CVSS scoring and threat intelligence
• Ability to work in a remote setting, preferably within the EST time zone
• Experience in coordinating with technical teams and stakeholders
