Tennessee Licensed Triage Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Triage Specialist to perform effective telephone triage to support dermatology patients based on their needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer phones and return voicemails to handle inquiries and transfer calls as needed
• Relay pathology results, schedule appointments, and document conversations in the system
• Prioritize skin cancers and explain procedures to patients while performing pre-op assessments

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or higher
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Medical Assistant
• Experience with patient scheduling and understanding of medical surgical procedures
• Familiarity with common pathology diagnoses and emergent situations
