A company is looking for an Underwriting Consultant - Major Accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and clarify group health application information from various stakeholders
- Perform risk appraisals and evaluate group risk for health insurance prospects and renewals
- Calculate and negotiate rates and premium charges for group health insurance
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, Finance, Accounting, or related field
- 8 years of experience in Stop Loss Underwriting, Financial Underwriting, Actuarial, or Financial Management
- Experience with ASO pricing
- Strong understanding of underwriting principles and practices
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently or in a team environment
