Job Summary

A company is looking for a Remote VA LAPP/SAR Underwriter with active designations.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite VA loans in accordance with agency, investor, and company guidelines
• Review and clear conditions; issue final loan approvals using VA credentials
• Analyze credit, income, asset, and collateral documentation to determine risk and loan eligibility

Required Qualifications

• Must have actively underwritten and signed off on loans using VA LAPP/SAR designations within the past 6 months
• Active VA LAPP/SAR credentials
• Must have most recently worked for a mortgage company
• Must be able to work a full-time Eastern Standard Time (EST) schedule
