Virginia Revenue Recovery Specialist

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Revenue Recovery Specialist who focuses on VA and Tricare Claims.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow up on patient bills and claims using the Artiva workflow management system to recover revenue
• Analyze information to identify root causes of denied or unpaid claims and determine next steps
• Ensure timely filing guidelines are met for maximum reimbursement and escalate complex accounts to management

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital, payer, or customer service position, preferably in healthcare insurance billing
• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Adherence to HIPAA requirements
• Moderate computer proficiency, including knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Experience with various government and military payers, including The Veterans Administration and Tricare, is required
