Virtual Chief Information Security Officer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Virtual Chief Information Security Officer (vCISO) to provide strategic cybersecurity leadership and regulatory guidance in the healthcare sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a senior security advisor to executive leadership and stakeholders
• Provide governance and oversight of the information security program
• Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific cybersecurity regulations including HIPAA and FDA 21 CFR Part 11

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience serving as a vCISO or CISO, preferably within healthcare environments
• Deep knowledge of HIPAA, FDA 21 CFR Part 11, and other health/cybersecurity regulations
• Strong background in Risk Management, compliance frameworks, and IT governance
• Familiarity with quality and regulatory standards for Medical Devices and Healthcare Products
• Excellent communication and executive reporting skills
