VistA Technical Integrator

Job Summary

A company is looking for a VistA Technical Integrator to support the Department of Veterans Affairs Health Portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct gap analyses to determine VistA package capabilities and impacts of modernization
• Provide subject matter expertise in VistA usage analysis, HL7 analysis, and coding review
• Assist in enhancing VistA analysis processes and develop presentations

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Systems, Business, or related field with 15 years of relevant experience, or 25 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Expert-level experience with VistA M coding and VistA HL7 Messaging protocols
• Competence in Microsoft Office Suite
• Availability for occasional weekend work during deployment cutovers for the EHRM initiative
• Ability to obtain/maintain VA Suitability/Public Trust clearance
