WASH Consultant

Job Summary

A company is looking for a WASH Consultant - International Humanitarian Response Roster.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess, design, and deliver emergency WASH and recovery programs in response to disasters
• Provide technical support and oversight for high-quality WASH programs addressing immediate needs and capacities of vulnerable groups
• Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to ensure effective and integrated responses

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5-7 years of humanitarian aid experience, with at least 4 years in WASH
• Relevant professional qualification or post-graduate degree in environmental, WASH, civil, or geospatial engineering
• Demonstrated expertise in civil engineering, water and sanitation, and needs assessments in humanitarian contexts
• Understanding of gender-sensitive programming and its application in WASH initiatives
• Proficiency in English; additional languages like French, Creole, Spanish, or Arabic are desirable
