Workers' Compensation Underwriter (P&C License)

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Underwriter specializing in Workers' Compensation Insurance.

Key Responsibilities

• Underwrite and retain new and renewal Workers' Compensation business, ensuring compliance with guidelines
• Compile underwriting decisions and collaborate with the Sales Team to maintain agency relationships
• Provide timely information and guidance to Underwriting Services staff and ensure exceptional customer service

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in underwriting workers' compensation policies
• Commercial lines underwriting experience is required
• Must possess a P&C agent license or commit to acquiring it within the first 90 days
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required
• Ability to interpret documents and perform calculations related to underwriting
