Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accounting Manager to oversee day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process and prepare financial statements in accordance with GAAP
• Oversee core accounting functions and implement internal controls and accounting policies for compliance and efficiency
• Lead the audit process, serving as the main point of contact for external auditors and managing regulatory compliance filings

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• 5-7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 2 years in a management role
• Deep knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting software and advanced Excel skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
