A company is looking for a NOVA Admissions Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete insurance notification, verification, and authorization for inpatient and outpatient admissions
- Document all financial liabilities and secure patient accounts through communication with insurance companies and clinical staff
- Provide courteous assistance to patients, guests, and staff while ensuring timely information dissemination
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 3 years of experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, insurance, or pre-certification, or related hospital experience
- Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM
- Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
- CPAR or CHAA certification is a plus
