Job Summary

A company is looking for a NOVA Admissions Coordinator.

Key Responsibilities
  • Complete insurance notification, verification, and authorization for inpatient and outpatient admissions
  • Document all financial liabilities and secure patient accounts through communication with insurance companies and clinical staff
  • Provide courteous assistance to patients, guests, and staff while ensuring timely information dissemination
Required Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of experience in patient access, billing, cash collections, insurance, or pre-certification, or related hospital experience
  • Ability to type a minimum of 35 WPM
  • Familiarity with medical terminology is preferred
  • CPAR or CHAA certification is a plus
