AI Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AI Engineer to develop customer-facing features utilizing LLMs.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive the development of new AI features in collaboration with product leadership, engineers, and designers
• Develop new features across the entire stack, including data design, backend APIs, and frontend UI
• Design, build, and maintain evaluations to ensure the AI effectively solves real customer problems

Required Qualifications

• Experience as a Staff or Senior Software Engineer at a startup with programming languages like Kotlin, Python, Java, or Ruby
• Strong interest and experience in AI, particularly LLMs
• Experience building software that balances simplicity, flexibility, and maintainability
• Able to thrive in a collaborative and iterative environment
• Proven ability to complete projects from start to finish using various technologies
