About the Role

A leading AI research initiative is recruiting Computer Science PhDs to support a flagship project advancing frontier large language models (LLMs). In this role, you will apply your domain expertise to design, solve, and review challenging computer science problems with real-world relevance, directly contributing to the innovation and rigor of next-generation AI systems.

Key Responsibilities
• Craft, solve, and review complex, high-quality problems in computer science with practical applicability
• Work asynchronously with a team of highly qualified experts across your domain
• Contribute to the development and evaluation of advanced AI reasoning capabilities
• Ensure clarity, rigor, and accuracy in all tasks delivered

Ideal Qualifications
• Master’s or PhD in Computer Science from a top US university
• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent proficiency in English
• Currently based in the U.S., Canada, New Zealand, UK, or Australia

Project Details
• Start Date: Late September (applications reviewed on a rolling basis)
• Duration: 1–2 months, with potential for extension
• Commitment: 10–20 hours/week, with the possibility of increased hours
• Schedule: Fully remote and asynchronous — work on your own schedule

Compensation & Contract
• Hourly rate: $65–$75 USD (based on experience)
• Independent contractor classification
• Weekly payments via Stripe Connect
