Application Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Application Security Engineer to enhance the security of software development processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Embed security into development workflows to enable fast engineering processes
• Collaborate with developers to identify and remediate vulnerabilities in code, APIs, and dependencies
• Implement security tooling in CI/CD pipelines with AI-assisted risk prioritization

Required Qualifications

• Experience as an Application Security Engineer, Security Consultant, or Security-focused Software Engineer
• Strong understanding of secure coding practices and common vulnerability patterns
• Hands-on experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Ruby, Go, JavaScript/React, and related frameworks
• Deep familiarity with OWASP guidance, including the OWASP Top 10 and Secure Coding Guidelines
