Associate Actuary

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Actuary.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide actuarial analytic support to various departments and key initiatives
• Serve as a technical consultant and subject matter expert to financial analysts and other departments
• Contribute to projects as needed, ensuring alignment with quality program goals

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is required
• Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) or Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) is required
• At least four (4) years of actuarial experience for FSA candidates or five (5) years for ASA candidates, with managed care experience
• Healthcare and/or Medicaid experience is preferred
• SQL programming knowledge or equivalent is preferred
