Associate Counsel

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Associate Counsel to support its legal operations in a fast-paced financial services environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support internal and external counsel in managing litigation and arbitration matters, focusing on consumer claims
• Conduct legal research, draft various legal documents, and appear at arbitration evidentiary hearings
• Review and negotiate commercial agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts, while assisting with regulatory compliance matters

Qualifications:

• J.D. from an accredited law school; admitted to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
• 3 years of legal experience, preferably with a litigation or arbitration background
• Familiarity with consumer finance or fintech preferred
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• A collaborative mindset and interest in the business side of legal practice
