AWS Cloud Architect

Job Summary

A company is looking for an AWS Cloud Architect to join their banking technology team.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for AWS cloud architecture and guide teams in application and account migration
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient cloud-native solutions while ensuring smooth software delivery across engineering teams
• Lead solution design discussions and articulate architectural decisions to influence teams across multiple domains

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in DevOps, SRE, or Platform Engineering, with at least 3 years in AWS cloud architecture roles
• Proven experience in large-scale cloud transformation and solution architecture
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services such as IAM, Fargate, S3, RDS, and Lambda
• In-depth understanding of cloud security practices, including encryption and access control
• AWS Certification(s) preferred, along with experience in regulated environments like financial services
