AWS Cloud Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Cloud Security Engineer with a strong focus on AWS.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across the AWS environment, including IAM and VPC security
• Continuously monitor and improve cloud security posture using AWS services like GuardDuty and Security Hub
• Conduct threat modeling and risk assessments for cloud deployments and respond to emerging security threats

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in general cybersecurity and securing cloud environments
• AWS Certified Security - Specialty or relevant security certifications preferred
• In-depth knowledge of Terraform and Gitlab
• Strong understanding of compliance standards such as SOC2 and GDPR
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks like NIST and CIS
