Azure Security Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Azure Security Engineer to support a growing healthcare technology organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and oversee security configurations within Microsoft Azure and Office environments
• Continuously monitor and manage Web Application Firewalls (WAF) to defend against cyber threats
• Deploy protective strategies to address security gaps and reduce exposure to risks

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure or engineering roles
• Strong expertise in Azure security principles and recommended practices
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Defender for Cloud and other threat detection solutions
• Skilled in scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python, with a focus on automation
• Practical experience managing Azure environments
