Back-End Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Back-End Engineer to design and scale the backbone of their platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js and TypeScript
• Implement and optimise PostgreSQL databases for performance and reliability
• Integrate and manage queue systems for efficient task processing

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of professional experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Hands-on experience with Node.js and frameworks such as Express.js
• Deep experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimisation
• Familiarity with AWS services and deploying in a cloud environment
