Backend Engineer

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to the development and improvement of highly-scalable services
• Analyze cost models and suggest operational efficiencies
• Lead the development of new services and participate in technology evaluations

Required Qualifications

• Proficiency with k8s and Go, with a strong understanding of garbage collection and profiling
• Familiarity with GCP/GKE, Linux, Docker, Ruby/Rails, Redis, and ffmpeg
• Experience in a SaaS or PaaS environment at scale
• Experience with video streaming at scale is a bonus
• Curiosity-driven and pragmatic with a focus on delivering results
