Head of Engineering

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Head of Engineering to lead and scale its engineering function.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and own the engineering organization structure and growth plan
• Drive technical strategy, system architecture, and long-term platform scalability
• Set the standard for engineering excellence in code quality, testing, and observability

Required Qualifications

• 8+ years of engineering experience, with 3+ years in engineering leadership
• Deep experience with Golang in production at scale
• Demonstrated success in building and scaling engineering teams (ideally 10+ members)
• Experience in high-growth, venture-backed startups
• Track record of delivering reliable systems and solving complex infrastructure problems
