Job Summary

A company is looking for a Behavioral Health Managed Care Representative.

Key Responsibilities

• Secures patient financial information and verifies insurance coverage
• Obtains initial authorizations and manages recertification tracking for behavioral health services
• Acts as a resource for patients and staff regarding billing, payment policies, and financial assistance options

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 1 year of insurance billing experience required
• Medical terminology training preferred upon hire
• Knowledge of ICD9 & CPT coding and insurance processes
• Computer skills and ability to work independently
