Key Responsibilities

• Provide support to families and caregivers dealing with death and dying issues
• Offer counseling to individuals and groups regarding grief and loss
• Engage with patients and their families to ensure compassionate care aligned with hospice philosophy

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

• Master's degree in mental health preferred or Bachelor's degree in counseling, theology, or related field required
• Experience working with families and patients through end-of-life issues
• Knowledge of hospice philosophy and grief response
• Must be a licensed driver with an insured automobile if making home visits
