Job Summary

A company is looking for a Budget Formulation Analyst to support a federal government client in Silver Spring, MD.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee budget formulation for NESDIS programs and assist in preparing annual budget requests
• Provide project management for NOAA/NESDIS funding execution and performance
• Collaborate with NESDIS program offices to track funding timing and execution

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree plus 5-7 years of experience in budget support for a government agency
• Experience with project management practices and financial analysis tools
• Proficiency in using financial systems such as EBS and FMDS
• Ability to create user-friendly spreadsheets and presentations
• Experience in monitoring and reporting on budget performance
