Job Summary
A company is looking for a Binding Operations Coordinator responsible for the binding process of insurance policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the binding of insurance policies, ensuring compliance with underwriting guidelines and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate communication between underwriters and brokers, responding to inquiries and providing revised quotes as needed
- Maintain organized records of binding transactions and prepare reports related to policy binding metrics and compliance
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the Insurance Industry or Binding Underwriting
- Bachelor's degree required; preferred fields include Business Administration, Business Operations, or Sales
- State P&C and/or surplus line licenses are minimum requirements
- Preferred certification: Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC)
